Getting started, FAQ and contact for Dailihood. Can't find an answer? Send us an email — usually replied within 7 business days.
1. Getting started
Dailihood is a local-first habit tracker: data lands on your device first, then syncs between your devices on demand. Five steps to your first streak.
1.1 Create your first habit
- Open the app and tap "+": pick an icon and color, give it a name;
- Choose a type: positive to build (read 30 minutes), negative to curb (sleep by 23:30);
- Optionally set a reminder time and repeat frequency.
1.2 Daily check-ins and backfill
- Tap to complete in the Today list; the ring on top shows today's progress in real time;
- A celebration animation plays on completion; missed a day? Backfill it from Today or the calendar — your streak stays intact.
1.3 Stats and calendar
- The Stats tab shows completion rate and streaks; trend charts and deep insights are Dailihood Pro features;
- The Calendar tab supports week / month / year views to look back at a whole year of green.
1.4 Turn on iCloud sync
- Enable sync in Settings → iCloud. Data travels between your iPhone, iPad and Mac through the Apple CloudKit private database, accessible only to you;
- Sync is incremental: trigger it manually or let it run at your chosen frequency, entirely in the background.
1.5 Add home-screen widgets
- Long-press the home screen to enter edit mode and add the Dailihood widget in small, medium or large size;
- Taps jump to Today, weekly stats and monthly stats respectively.
2. FAQ
Which devices does Dailihood support? What OS versions are required?
Dailihood covers iPhone, iPad and Mac, requiring iOS / iPadOS 17.6 or later and macOS 14.6 or later. It is built with native SwiftUI for a consistent experience across all three platforms.
Where is my data stored? Is it uploaded?
Local-first: habits and check-ins are stored on your device by default. With iCloud sync enabled, data travels between your devices through the Apple CloudKit private database, accessible only to you. There is no account system and no server of ours storing your habit data — see the privacy policy.
Is iCloud sync automatic?
To avoid automatic mirroring blocking the main thread, sync is incremental: trigger it manually in Settings, or let it run at your chosen frequency. Only changes are synced, entirely in the background; conflicts resolve by timestamp, newest wins.
What is the difference between the free version and Pro?
Check-ins, calendars, widgets, iCloud sync and theme colors are open to everyone. Pro unlocks trend charts and deep insights plus the privacy lock (Face ID / Touch ID / passcode): $0.99 monthly or $9.99 yearly, both with a 7-day free trial; or a one-time $24.99 lifetime purchase that locks in all Pro features and future additions.
What if I forget the privacy lock?
The privacy lock verifies with Face ID / Touch ID or your device passcode, bound to system biometrics — there is no separate password to remember. If none of your device verification methods are available, the app cannot be opened, so please make sure your device has a reliable unlock method.
Which languages are supported?
Five languages: Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese, following the system or switched manually.
What if my widget does not update?
Widget data refreshes with the app. If it lags, make sure the app is up to date, wait a moment after a check-in, or remove and re-add the widget. On Mac, a restart can also refresh the widget cache.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by the Apple App Store. Cancel or change subscriptions in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; refunds and billing questions go through Apple's official channel (reportaproblem.apple.com).
3. Feedback
The most effective way to reach us is an email. Please include as much of the following as you can:
- Device model and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro · iOS 26.0);
- App version (currently 1.0.1, visible at the bottom of Settings);
- Steps to reproduce, plus screenshots if available;
- Whether related settings (iCloud sync, privacy lock) are enabled.
Your habits belong to you. Describe the issue only — you never need to send us your habit data, and we will never ask for private information.
